Framing

We have started our framing!

The lumber was delivered on Monday.

And we started working on the headers.

 

On Tuesday, Weldon got a huge splinter that went all the way through his pinkie finger. I didn't get a picture, because he was in so much pain and it took us a little while to get it out. 

 

 

 

Saturday, Keith and Denise and family, Weston and Jessica, and U. Marty came over to help us get the rest of the headers built and also lay out all the walls.

 

 

Sunday, Keith, Weldon and U. Marty went over after lunch and started building walls.

Right as we were finishing up dinner that evening, Weldon calls to ask if we could come out and help them set up the walls that they had built. So we head out there and get them done just as it was getting dark.
