Plumbing and Duct Work

On Saturday we knocked out the plumbing and about half of the duct work. We were very pleased with all the work we were able to accomplish.

Foundation

We started the foundation! Monday the footings were poured.

Tuesday the stem walls were formed and poured.

What you see are the forms. We haven't been there since they have finished up and taken them apart.



House Plans

Well...it has been a while!

We have been working on house plans, and working on house plans, and working on house plans. We could probably build the house without them now, because they are so engraved in our brains.

Not really. These last two weeks we have been getting bids and paperwork done for the building loan.

Last Wednesday we had the well dug. A whopping 12 gallons a minute! He didn't want to dig any deeper with the fear of hitting the salt water that runs through there.

Either the end of this week or the beginning of next week, we are going to have the footings dug and stem walls put in. So, we'll see!
