| Contract Pending! |
Wednesday, April 4, we met with a realtor to list the house for us.
It was shown twice on Saturday.
Monday morning Weldon calls me to let me know someone made an offer,
and some else was wanting to look at it.
Later that day we went to sign a contract that is to close on May 25th!
We were excited it "sold" so fast.
The closing date seemed kind of far out, but there is quite a bit that has to be done before we can close.
Our realtor said that he called it, "inclimate weather delay."
We have to replace the roof, and it is forecasted to rain for the next ten days (It feels like the last ten days have been rain). :(
And so he wanted to give us time to get that done around the rain.
There are a couple of other things that they are needing to have done because of the type of loan that they are getting.
Plus, we have two weekends that are already filled up with our April camp,
and Josh and Lauren's wedding the following weekend.
So we're hoping that will allow enough time to get everything done. And also it's nice to not feel like we're being rushed out.
We definitely have our work cut out for us, though!
We're really wanting/hoping/praying it will go through.
I can tend to be antsy, worried, anxious...
I've had to remind myself of Phil. 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing...":)
Pray for us that things will all work out (and I don't worry myself silly)! :)
